Scientific and production enterprise “ALAY” is a Ukrainian manufacturer of cable&wire products and elements of security&fire alarm systems. Cable production is represented by trade mark ALAY®CABLES , which offers a wide range of cables and wires for construction, energy, mechanical engineering, industrial automation, telecommunications, electric heating and other areas.

ALAY is a classic family-owned enterprise. ALAY’s activities began in Kyiv in 1992 as a private company, Alay PE, founded by Anatoliy Pushkar. Since then, the business direction has not changed, but only expanded and improved. He chose to produce cable and wire products not only because of the demand for this product, but also because of his parents and relatives, who worked all their lives at the Kyiv cable plant Ukrkabel during the Soviet era, and he had some experience in this field. Therefore, for the Pushkar family, the production of cable and wire products has become a family tradition of the present and future.

From the first years to the present, the development of cable and wire production has been focused on import substitution and the development of new products. This required a lot of specific equipment that was rare in the world. For this reason, we developed and manufactured a lot of specific equipment that is still in good working for today. The development and production of equipment continues. The business started in 1992 in Kyiv with a 0.3 hectare leased land plot and two trade pavilions as first workshop 36×12 m built on it.

Today ALAY is:

• the plant’s own property complex of more than 6,700 m. kV, located in Kyiv on a 1.5-hectare plot with a 10 kV substation with 2×1000 kVA transformers, a compressor station, a modular gas boiler, three boiler houses with renewable fuel, networks and communications, etc
• full closed production cycle;
• the authorized capital as of mid-2023 is 51 million UAH
• Researching of new designs of cables and wires, including special purpose according to individual requirements of customers, are constantly being conducted at the enterprise.

Developing the technology of cable and wire products, the company is constantly searching for and developing specific market sectors based on cables and wires produced by ALAY

The HR policy of the plant is aimed at continuous rejuvenation of the team and their training. All managers have higher specialized education, additional specialized education and the necessary certification. The quality management system is certified in accordance with the requirements of DSTU ISO 9001:2015 and DSTU ISO 19443:2019, which creates a stable basis for the company’s improvement and development. All products are subject to mandatory testing in the factory testing laboratory to ensure compliance with the declared standards.
